Oh, Driscoll, why do you always give me terrible ideas? And just when my camera is on the repair shop? I got my signed strip, and it is awesome, btw :D

you know, I'm surprised that with so many "hairy situation" word play possibilities, everyone is still +0 at this point.

tom (+222)

Rated +9

Everyone makes way too many puns here, so I guess everyone thought they'd cut if off for a strip or two.

I'm so sorry.

Princewolf (+411)

Hair, I think, would be a good place for some puns.

Princewolf (+411)

It's not really my style to do plays on words, but hair I go anyway. Hurry up and cut me off before I get going at a good clip. Chop, chop!

Poor Chester, that's happened to me before. Totally got in my eyes too, I was completely blonded.

zetoastking (+342)

SHAVED a few years off your life, I bet. Nearly DYED.

Rainfly_X (+272)

The physical damage was temporary, but I needed serious hairapy for a few years afterward.

zetoastking (+342)

HA! Temporary, that's a good one.

sarcasmic (+60)

did you not do a pun? you're in a hairy situation then!

Rainfly_X (+272)

Rated +3

Easy mistake, no need to scalp the man! ;)

At any rate, I hypothesize that Chester is planning to use his new weapon as a powerful afrodisiac to woo his high school sweetheart. Little does he know she was hit by a bus last week, so he'll have to figure out how to razor from the dead first.

Princewolf (+411)

Rated +1

I would like to highlight that you may be walking the razor's edge with that one. The buzz is that we have created a beehive of puns. I can't remember which, but my scissor maybe my brother told me that it's dangerous to do this.

If you click on the blue or purple rectangle above to the right, you can buy any Daisy Owl strip signed by Driscoll. They're awesome.

Seriously...

Garrett (+27)

pie89 (+42)

It's tragic really. Oh the rashes...

evanseeds (+24)

Rated +3

Is the degree of Itchy Collar ranked like crimes, where 1st is the worst, or like burns, where 3rd is the worst? Because if it's like crimes, and this is only the 3rd worst Itchy Collar, I tremble to imagine the 2nd and 1st degrees

repoclause (+66)

Rated +4

I have to think that it would be like burns, since it happens to you, rather than you do it, right? But 2nd degree burns involve blistering, and 3rd degree involve destroyed nerves and skin falling off, can you imagine the unbearable itchiness of a 3rd degree Itchy Collar? I bet Chester is all like, "BEANS!"

GobyCow (+97)

Rated +2

Technically he can't be all "beans!" as he is most likely unconscious. Although, he could be dreaming about beans. Or maybe the Queen Bee-n? Maybe? No?

Ninya (+55)

No.

Sorry.

That will be a useful thing to put on a resume. People like being around those who can't make puns.

repoclause (+66)

So true, I hat being around when people say "No pun intended" when a pun clearly was intended. . .

xkcd is one of the greatest things on the internet, EVER. I am a strong supporter of the movement to elect Randal Munroe as President of the Internet.

Ninya (+55)

That'll have to wait a few years so that the youngest third of his audience will be able to vote, but once that happens...

Princewolf (+411)

Rated 0

Xkcd is good and bad because I don't have a freaking CLUE what he's talking about half the time. A minus because I feel completely out of touch - and a plus because I then have to look stuff up and that helps me get in touch.

Well, it helps a little. I'm still pretty clueless.

And the skateboard race series completely baffled me. What the hell was that about?

Eggbert (+85)

It was a throwback to Firefly/Serenity. Firefly was Joss Whedon's TV series, and Serenity was the conclusion movie because the show ended early. http://www.xkcd.com/311/
This one is another throwback to the show.

Ninya (+55)

An amendment to Eggbert comment: It was a throwback to an incredibly awesome show. Go, look up Firefly on Hulu. It's all there.

Kazen (+9)

But what are you doing with a bear's hairy arms? You should probably give them back.

It's an owl thing.

tom (+222)

Easily solved, set the hair beam to it's 'shave' function.

becky (+232)

Rated 0

Well the obvious course of action is to shave off your beard and donate it to Steve. He's gonna run out of ammo eventually and you don't expect him to shave himself and walk around naked because people like you are greedy, do you? Help a bear-brother out.

When spelled 'U-Tube,' it quite reminds me of a piece of plumbing. Well, even the normal spelling has that effect some times, considering what's going through it.

Gepetto (+4)

There are videos of cats doing funny things in your plumbing? How does all the human waste get through?
