Actually, since owls have better depth perception than most animals, pool/snooker would probably be easier.

So is there some kind of backstory involving Steve and knife-boot gangs?
Judging by his reaction I would assume that years ago he helped take down the knife-boot gang. But now it would seem that somebody has reformed the gang and Steve's services are going be needed very soon.
Mark my words; this will be the plot of the next season of 24.

I love how the punch line pretty much takes place in the fourth panel and the last panel is just devoted to Mr. Owl saying "Yeah." It's moments like this that make me keep coming back here. (And re-reading the archives once I found out about the alt-text. Damn you, quasi-easter eggs.) Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
