I just read this again with Thus Spoke Zarathrusta, the theme tune from 2001: a Space Odyssey playing in the background. If you get your timing just right, this comic somehow manages to be even better.
That is my dream too. Except instead of a honey factory, the hope will be my basement, where I have become the greatest gamer of all time and when the race is invaded, I save them using their Space Invaders-style defense system, thereby becoming their saviour.

I love the tonal shift in this one and who knew honey equals hope. Perhaps this is why bees mustn't be extinct?

Plus, it's the only non-perishable food. If you had a bunker full of salsa, that wouldn't do any good for visiting aliens in a post-apocalyptic world.
